Nurturing Resilience: Social Emotional Learning and Mental Health Among Zambian Youth In Zambia, where young people make up a large share of the population and face daily pressures from poverty, family challenges, HIV/AIDS, gender-based violence, and economic uncertainty, the importance of nurturing emotional and social well-being in schools has never been clearer. Social Emotional Learning, or SEL, offers a practical pathway forward.
